FootingPad footings may be used with any post type including ground-contact-certified treated wood, and precast or poured columns. Readily available metal or wood uplift cleats can also be used to provide uplift resistance as required.

FootingPad footings are engineered using a specially formulated, fiber-reinforced composite that is lightweight while providing exceptional strength. Load capacities were determined by an independent lab and validated by the International Code Council (ICC).

Footings work by spreading the load of a structure over a larger soil surface area. If overloaded, soil will give way and the footing sinks. This is true for footings made of any material, including concrete. FootingPad footings are guaranteed to exceed the load capacity of all soil types when using the correct size for your application.

The Trex RainEscape drainage system can easily be installed on any new or existing deck. Using scissors and a staple gun, simply place a downspout at the end of each deck bay, roll out and staple the trough to the top of the joist. The water enters through the decking into the trough, drains to the downspout and then into the gutter.

The RainEscape® system fits both 12" and 16" joist spacing and is easily modified to fit 24" joist spacing.
